We simply cannot stress how important it is to confirm address details when placing an order as we have very limited amendment options available to us once the order is confirmed.
And that's not just on our site, but on any online service or shop.
As Royal Mail do not currently offer in-flight options for parcels, neither Royal Mail or us are able to redirect the parcel to an address alternative to that which was provided when confirming payment.
Our terms state that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all the shipping and billing address details that they have confirmed are correct, including the complete door number, street name and postcode.
We do not hold any liability for the parcel if they are delivered to a wrong address that has been confirmed when placing the order.
It's highly recommended to delete any old addresses saved in the address book to avoid potentially selecting the wrong address by mistake.
As our despatch system will simply "copy/paste" the address provided by the customer, it would be the responsibility of the customer to contact the residents at the delivered address and arrange a collection or a redelivery to an alternative address as we are no longer in possession of the parcel nor would we hold responsibility for it.
We would have followed the instruction initially requested on the parcel and therefore despatched it accordingly.
